Refund Policy
Our refund and cancellation terms for Vaida Chat and Vaida Chat + Video monthly subscriptions. Payments are processed by Paddle.com as Merchant of Record.

Vaida LLC ("Vaida", "we", "us") offers monthly subscription plans that unlock messaging features on vaida.app. This Refund Policy explains when and how refunds are issued.
1. Subscription billing
Vaida subscriptions (Vaida Chat and Vaida Chat + Video) are billed monthly in advance. When you subscribe, you are charged immediately for the current billing period and gain access to the features included in your plan for that period.
Payments are processed by Paddle.com, our authorised payment processor and Merchant of Record. Paddle appears on your bank or card statement as the merchant.
2. Cancellations
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at support@vaida.app.
When you cancel:
- Your subscription will not renew at the end of the current billing period.
- You retain full access to your plan features until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- No further charges are made after cancellation.
Cancellation does not automatically entitle you to a refund for the current billing period.
3. Refunds
General rule: Subscription fees are non-refundable once the billing period has started, because access to the paid features is granted immediately upon payment.
Exceptions — we will issue a full refund if:
- You were charged in error (e.g. a duplicate charge or a system error on our side).
- You contact us within 48 hours of your first-ever subscription charge and have not used the messaging features during that period.
- Applicable consumer-protection law in your country gives you a statutory right to a refund (such as the EU 14-day right of withdrawal for digital services where the service has not yet begun).
How to request a refund:
Email support@vaida.app from the address associated with your Vaida account. Include:
- Your name and the email address on your account
- The date of the charge and the amount
- A brief description of the reason for your request
We will respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method and typically clear within 5–10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer.
4. Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback with your bank or card issuer without contacting us first, we reserve the right to suspend your Vaida account pending resolution, in accordance with our Terms of Service.
We encourage you to contact us directly first — we resolve genuine disputes quickly.
5. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The "Effective date" at the top of this page reflects the date of the most recent revision. Continued use of Vaida after a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
