Vaida is operated by Vaida LLC as a web platform at vaida.app — there is no native mobile app from us, and no app-store fee in the price. You sign up free, build a verified profile, browse every member, see who liked you, and receive messages from paying members without paying anything yourself.
When you're ready to start the conversation, the paid plans are flat monthly subscriptions you can cancel any time from your account settings. We do not charge per message, per match, or per video minute — and we will never sell you 'boosts' or 'super-likes' on top of the plan you're already paying for.

Included in every paid plan
Some features other dating apps treat as paid add-ons are included on every Vaida plan, free or paid:
- Identity-verified members. Every member completes identity verification before they can message anyone. We do not gate verification behind a paid plan.
- AI scam-detection on every conversation. Our romance-fraud models run on every chat regardless of plan. We never push you to switch to WhatsApp or Telegram — that is where most scams happen.
- Translation always-on inside chat. On Chat and Chat + Video, translation runs automatically inside every conversation across 40+ languages. There is no separate 'translation pack' to buy.
- Cancel any time, refund window included. Cancel from account settings in two clicks. We honor the refund window described in the FAQ below for new paid subscriptions.

Pricing questions
Are there any per-message or per-match fees?
No. Vaida plans are flat monthly subscriptions. Once you are on Chat or Chat + Video, you can send unlimited messages and (on Chat + Video) place unlimited in-app video calls without any additional per-action charges.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open your account settings on vaida.app and choose 'Cancel subscription'. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep the paid features until the period ends, and you are not charged again. There is no cancellation fee.
Do you offer refunds?
We honor a 14-day refund window for the first month of a new paid subscription if you have not yet used the paid features beyond a trial level. Outside that window, plans are non-refundable for the period already billed, but cancellation stops all future charges immediately. Email support@vaida.app to request a refund — be sure to use the email address on your account.
How are international taxes (VAT / GST) handled?
Prices on this page are shown in US dollars without tax. At checkout, any applicable VAT or GST for your country is added on top of the listed price and shown to you before you confirm the purchase. Your invoice itemizes the tax line separately.
Can I switch between Chat and Chat + Video?
Yes. You can upgrade from Chat to Chat + Video at any time and the upgraded features unlock immediately — your billing date stays the same and we prorate the difference. Downgrading from Chat + Video to Chat takes effect at the end of the current billing period so you keep the features you've already paid for.
Is there a free trial of the paid plans?
There is no separate time-limited trial. The Free plan is a permanent free tier, not a trial — it gives you a verified profile, full member browsing, and the ability to receive messages from paying members for as long as you want. Many members stay on Free indefinitely. When you upgrade you pay only for the month you're using.
