Vaida is a web platform — not a mobile app

Vaida is a real, operating web platform for international dating, accessible at https://vaida.app. The platform is operated by Vaida LLC, a US limited liability company founded in April 2025. You sign up and use Vaida entirely in your browser — there is no installation required and no native mobile app from us.

If you have seen reviews of a mobile application called "Vaida" on Google Play or the App Store, those reviews are not about our product. We do not publish a mobile app on either store. Any mobile app named "Vaida" that you see on a store is published by a different company and is unaffiliated with our platform. Mainstream dating apps weren't built for cross-border relationships

Tinder, Bumble, and Hinge were designed for people who live two neighborhoods apart and speak the same language. Adding a 'global mode' as an afterthought doesn't fix the structural gaps that matter when the person you're talking to lives in another country: machine translation that breaks mid-sentence and forces you to copy-paste through a separate translator, video calls that push you off-platform onto WhatsApp where scammers wait, and trust signals built around proximity instead of identity.

We built Vaida around those three gaps from day one. Translation runs inside every conversation across 40+ languages so you never leave the chat. Video chat is in-app on every paid plan so you can confirm your match looks like their photos before deciding to meet in person. And our AI scam-detection models are trained specifically on romance-fraud patterns — the multi-week trust-building, the inevitable financial ask, the script that mainstream apps largely ignore because their fraud teams are sized for credit-card chargebacks, not heartbreak.

International daters, not the same-city audience

Our member base is concentrated in cross-border conversations: members in the US, UK, Canada, and Western Europe matching with members in Latin America (Colombia, Mexico) and Southeast Asia (Thailand, the Philippines), plus a growing Ukrainian-speaking community. We deliberately do not compete with Hinge or Tinder for same-city dating in one language. If you want to meet someone two miles away who speaks English, those apps already work fine for that — Vaida would be overkill. We exist for the harder case: the relationships that have to work across 5,000 miles, two passports, and two languages.

Vaida LLC is a US limited liability company that operates the platform at vaida.app. We launched in April 2025 with a deliberate focus on international dating. The team works remotely across the US and Europe, and the engineering, trust & safety, and customer support functions are all in-house — we do not outsource moderation or scam triage.
